3rd Business of the Year Award 2007

OCTOBER 15th, 2008 : Star RFM wins Promising Company 2007 Award

Kuala Lumpur: Star RFM Sdn Bhd has received the Promising Company Award at the third Business of the Year 2007 Awards. The award is given to young companies which have had above average revenue growth.

Chief operating officer Lim Cheng Hee thanked his staff for their performance which helped the station win the award. “We present our radio content in a way that is fun and engaging. From current issues to lifestyle trends, we include our listeners in the programming,” he said when receiving the award.

The awards were organised by SMI and SME Worldwide Network.

Star Rfm Sdn Bhd was awarded the 7th Asia Pacific International Honesty Enterprise-Keris Award 2008 on 18 January 2008.   The objective of the Award is to recognise enterprises that have achieved excellence in their respective industries and have additionally demonstrated honesty, credibility, accountability and integrity in their daily business dealings.

As a winner, Star Rfm Sdn Bhd is given an honorary membership of Entrepreneur Development Association Malaysia; a non-profit international business organisation with more than 500 members from outstanding enterprises of Asia Pacific countries.  The Entrepreneur Development Association Malaysia has been consistently organising the Asia-Pacific International Honesty Enterprise-Keris Award since 2002. 

The co-organisers are Yantai Investment Development Board of Shandong of P.R. China, Penglai Municipal Government of Shandong of P.R. China, Fushun Municipal Government of Liaoning of P.R. China, The Federation of Chinese Association Malaysia (Malaysia Online Business Information), Oversea Chinese Investment Commercial Association of Indonesia, Singapore Singa-Sino Friendship Association, Shang Hai Business Magazine(Star Publication Group), Global Business Magazine, Kwong Wah Yit Poh, United Overseas Bank (M) Bhd, China Southern Airlines Co. Ltd and etc.

Every winner of 2008 and past winners will be featured in an exclusive Asia Pacific International Honesty Enterprise-Keris Award Book of Records.
